On a November night in 2011, 6 friends gather for a party one night at Cynthia’s house during their Thanksgiving break of various college years. Having all known each other for quite some time, there is much history, and much drama to gab about. As the party gets going, they each begin to realize that something is not quite right. Whether that be the nature of their friendships, the inevitable fact that they are all growing apart, or maybe something much more sinister. A coming of age comedy with an unexpected twist, “The Minds We Had” personifies these concepts in a coming of age comedy. Written by Sam Lucas, adapted and directed by Danielle Silkes.

We are currently in the process of submitting ‘The Minds We Had’ to film festivals! This project was entirely self-funded, which was a major expense.
